Alison & Clive Married at Newstead Abbey

Alison and Clive were married at Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire. Although it persistently rained, we managed to gain privileged access to some of the formal rooms in the abbey in order to take some bride and groom photographs – and still managed to have fun with brollies outside!

Alison was a very nervous bride, but our pre-meeting photoshoot in the abbey gardens had made her feel much more comfortable having me close on the day.

Alison and Clive chose to have a half-day package (I spent only an hour at the reception in order to get some informal shots of the guests, a record of the room, and a mock-up of the cutting-of-the-cake photo) and their images on CDROM only. I have since created a beautiful coffee-table book of their images which has been printed on high-quality photographic paper.
