Big Sky Photography Workshops was established in March 2012 by myself and fellow photographer Tracey Whitefoot, initially to provide half-day photography workshops for complete beginners. These workshops were run in conjunction with Wollaton Hall in Nottingham. A number of different logo options were created by myself and the final logo chosen by the partnership, its colour changing by course ability level (the blues darken the more advanced your skills) on the individual course materials (e.g., promotional leaflets, handouts, presentation templates).
Going solo from May 2012, I took the business a step forwards and created a range of one-day and weekend photographic workshops/tours running throughout the UK and Channel Islands. At this point a website was imperative and so I created the web design (look and feel), structure and created the content for the site (copywriting, SEO, and imagery), utilizing a web developer to build the bespoke site and administration area.
